This here is the condition of various antique gun barrels from rifles as they were received at a swap meet. They were recovered from years of Laying on a damp concrete floor along the side wall in the back of a garage.
This IVER JOHNSON Hercules Grade is from a double barrel shotgun. The upper picture shows the barrel as it was received, and the lower picture shows the barrel after spraying with StrongArmSprays and wire brushing lightly with a wire brush and wiping with a rag after only several minutes. The barrel and whatever blue is left is brought back up and the marking is restored.
Once again, this special smokeless steel hexagon barrel is shown beore and after applying StrongArmSprays and wire brushing and wiping with a rag.
The Surface of the barrel and mount are now rust free and water proofed.
